Question by XOpatriotsloveOX: will apple cider kill mold and get the stains out of my fabric??
I spilt some water on a cotton bag of mine, and thought that it would just dry. Well it didnt. The bag now has mold, i just put it in the washing machine, and am gonna see what that does but I was researching and i found that vineager will help, but i only have apple cider veneager. Will this work, or will it ruin the bag and its colors.
i would use bleach but the bag is kinda colorful and i dont want to ruin the colors.

I would not use cider, or cider vinegar. These have their uses. but for mold you want bleach -- full strength. It will get rid of the stains, and kill the mold.

2010 Sep 05 1i don’t know if this will work.. but bleach is u’r killer for mold… & if it calls for vinegar.. it would b white vinegar over cider vinegar but what about Clorox 2? it’s for color clothing. It’s worth the try.

2010 Sep 05 2I would use full strength white distilled vinegar for this. Pour undiluted white distilled vinegar into a spray bottle. Vinegar is great at getting rid of mold/mildew, it isn’t toxic like bleach and it also eliminates the bad odor. Spray the vinegar liberally onto the affected areas. Let it sit for several hours, ideally outside in the sun. Use warm, sudsy water to wash it. Rinse it and let it dry in a clean, dry place.
